I started building Web sites in 1994, when Internet Explorer did not yet support tables in HTML, and the word "blog" was merely onomatopoetic. Over the last 14 years I've worked on projects from Java-based dating Web sites to Windows applications for auditing loan quality. Most recently I've worked with the ASP.Net framework, building user interfaces for VB.Net Web applications, and creating complete Windows applications in Visual C#.
Ten years after my start, I founded a software development firm with a business partner. The process of running the business, making business plans, meeting with clients and marketing the firm soon became more enjoyable to me than the development work.
While I will never tire of working directly with technology, I've found that my path has lead to more strategic management positions. In 2008, after years of consulting in the legal industry, I took the position of Marketing Technology Manager at Heller Ehrman LLP.
